The Wilderness Lodge succeeds in evoking feelings of vacationing in the Pacific Northwest and the grounds bring the splendor associated with the countries spectacular national parks to central Florida. From the jaw dropping 7 story fireplace in the lobby, to the Old Faithful style, Fire Rock Geyser erupting every hour shooting its plume of water 120 feet into the air, to the forest of towering pines surrounding the resort, this resort is supplies an intimate taste of natural beauty and along with a coziness seldom expected in such an action packed vacation destination. As with all deluxe resorts, the Wilderness Lodge rooms are accessible through interior hallways allowing many to feature private balconies overlooking scenic wilderness or lake/pool views. The resorts rooms are slightly smaller than other deluxe flavored resorts and sleep 4. Rooms have a choice between two queen size beds and a queen size bed with a set of bunk beds. There a few honeymoon suites with king size beds and a Jacuzzi tub as well as junior suites that include a sitting area with sink and refrigerator. The nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks display can be view from the upper main balconies and there is a nightly performance of the Electrical Pageant Parade from the beach. Room service is available until 11PM.

For the Kids

In addition to a pool with a water slide, watercraft and bike rentals, a high-tech game room, fishing and a 24-hour playground, children and the whole family can enjoy Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long. Children ages 4-12 can also have fun at the Cub's Den, a supervised activity center that affords parents a carefree night on the town. (Additional fee required)
